what language test are required while traveling to Saudi Arabia

As of my last update in September 2021, Saudi Arabia does not require general tourists to pass any language test to enter the country. The official language of Saudi Arabia is Arabic, but there’s no need for tourists to demonstrate proficiency in Arabic (or any other language) to obtain a tourist visa.

However, for those looking to work or study in specific professional sectors or institutions in Saudi Arabia, certain language proficiency might be expected or required depending on the nature of the job or academic program, but it’s not a general entry requirement.

For instance, if you are applying for a job that requires communication in English (like teaching English as a foreign language), the employer might require an English proficiency test like IELTS or TOEFL. But again, this is related to the job, not the visa entry requirement per se.

If you’re planning to travel, work, or study in Saudi Arabia, it’s best to check with the appropriate Saudi Arabian embassy, consulate, or the specific institution/employer in question for precise requirements.
